When a transaction has the status "started," there is an option to change the expiration date.
Expiration is set as a number of active days rather than a fixed calendar date.
Note! if the transaction has a different status, it is not possible to change the expiration date.
Locating the Transaction Expiration Date
To find the expiration date of a transaction in Addo Sign:
Navigate to the Overview section of the application.
Open the Transactions tab.
Look under the Signing Details section for the "Expiration Date." The expiration date will be displayed there.
Change the date
If you have reactivated a transaction or simply set the wrong expiration date for a transaction, you have the option to change it.
Before changing the expiration date, you can locate it under the "Signing Details" section in the transaction overview.
This is done by navigating to the Overview section, then opening the Transactions tab and clicking on the transaction you want to change the date for. If there is more than one signer, click on one of the signers listed under the transaction.
Next, a pop-up will appear where you click into transaction details and then change the expiration date to the desired date:
1. Press "Signing Details" in the pop-up that appears.
2. Press "Edit":
3. Choose the desired expiration date:
Additional Tips
Regularly review your transactions to ensure they remain active as needed.
Use the reminder settings to manage notifications sent to signers effectively.
⚠️The expiration date can only be up to 90 days in the future.
This limitation is calculated from the transaction's creation date.
