Addo Vault

Addo Vault stores all signed documents in one secure place—no more manual saving or scattered file storage.

Updated over a week ago

What is Addo Vault?

Addo Vault is a built-in feature in Addo that automatically stores all your signed documents securely. Without Addo Vault, documents are only stored in Addo for 10 days after the expiration date or can be accessed via the receipt email. With Addo Vault enabled, there's no need for separate or manual storage solutions. Each stored document includes a complete signature history, showing when, how, and by whom the document was signed.

Addo Vault is included at no extra cost in all Addo or Enterprise subscriptions. See our subscriptions here.

How does Addo Vault work?

Once activated, Addo Vault automatically stores signed documents within your Addo Sign account. You can access them as usual from your transaction overview in Addo Sign.

How do I find archived documents?

You can locate documents the same way as before — using filters such as reference number, recipient name, or the sending template used. Once located, click the transaction, go to Signing details and then chose the Files tab to access your stored files.

How do I activate Addo Vault?

Addo Vault is available to all Addo10, Addo50, Addo100, and Enterprise subscribers. When activated, it applies to all past and future signings — except those already expired or are more than 10 days past expiration before activation.

Step 1: Activate Addo Vault

  1. Navigate to Settings (cogwheel in the top right)

  2. Go to Account Overview

  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and enable Addo Vault

Step 2: Confirm Activation

  1. Click Yes when prompted

  2. Enter your Account ID (shown in the pop-up)

  3. Click Confirm

  4. Done! Addo Vault is now active.
