If the signer's email address is incorrect, the transaction will fail, and the signer won't receive the signing request.
Important note:
You cannot directly change an email on a failed transaction. To fix it, you must first reactivate the transaction, then immediately update the email before it fails again.
Step 1: Reactivate the Transaction
Go to the Overview.
Find the transaction marked as "Failed".
Click on the transaction to open its details.
Click the three dots (•••) in the top right corner.
Select "Reactivate transaction."
Once reactivated, the transaction becomes active again, and the countdown to expiration restarts.
Step 2: Edit the Recipient’s Email Address
After reactivation, click on the signer whose email is incorrect.
2. In the pop-up window, locate the email field.
3. Enter the correct email.
4. Remember to save.
A new notification will be sent automatically to the updated email address.
Note: Act quickly. If you wait too long, the transaction may fail again - and you'll need to repeat the process.
