How to Reactivate a Transaction
When sending documents for signature, it's important to keep track of the expiration date. If some signers haven't signed in time, you can reactivate the transaction to give them more time. This article will explain how to reactivate a transaction and what happens when you do.
What is Reactivation?
Reactivation is a feature that extends the expiration date of a transaction and sends new notifications to collect remaining signatures. This is useful when some signers haven't signed in time. Those who already signed won't need to sign again - the signing period is simply extended for the remaining signers, who will receive notifications.
Note! You cannot reactivate transactions that expired more than 10 days ago.
How to Reactivate a Failed Transaction:
Select the failed transaction from your dashboard
Click the three dots (•••) in the top-right corner next to the ‘X’
Choose “Reactivate signing” from the dropdown menu
Once reactivated, you’ll be able to edit the recipient’s contact information — such as email address, phone number, or name.
All remaining signers will then have 30 days from the reactivation date to complete their signatures.
