Importing contacts into the address book can be a help for the employees in your company, as they only have to write a few letters from a person's name to retrieve information of the receiver
The following is a guide for you who would like to enter your employees into the address book and therefore have an easy reference work of internal employees in Addo Sign.

Distributing a document
Add contacts to the address book.
If you, as an administrator or group administrator, want to add a single contact to the address book, this can be done by using the "address book" within settings.
If a want to add a person to the address book, this can be done as follows:
- Tap Settings in the top right corner
- Select the Address Book
- Tap "Add Contact"
- Now a pop-up appears where you can enter data on your contact - Write the name of the contact person (minimum for adding a contact)
- Also write E-mail for the contact person (minimum for adding a contact)
- Also note the phone number. Especially if "SMS" is used as the distribution method in Addo Sign.
Save contact in the address book for distribution
If you try to send something to a contact, but that person does not automatically appear when you have entered the name or parts of the name, this means that the person is not in your address book.
However, the person can easily be added to the address book when you are about to send documents to the person.
- Press "Add one or more signers"
- Enter the name of the recipient
- Enter the recipient's email address
- Check "Save recipient in address book when added"
- Press "Add"
Download template
When you want to enter all employees in the address book, we recommend that you download a template for entering the contacts. The template is in .CSV format and can therefore be opened in an excel sheet as you know it.
To get the template, simply go to the address book and press "export contacts"
- Tap "settings"
- Select "Address Book"
- Download the .CSV template by pressing "export contacts" and press "ok" on the pop-up that appears.
Edit and complete the template
Once you have downloaded the .CSV template, you can open it to see in which format the contacts should be loaded.
Note:
- Please do not change the headings that appear in the .CSV template, but instead simply insert the data rows below.
- Please change the fields under the phone number to text fields so that you can have the country prefix with (+45)
- There must be no duplicates in the form of phone numbers or e-mails in the sheet, or existing people in the address book.
- Top row - Row 1 must not be touched.
- Please fill in all the rows from row 2 and below with data for the people you want to add
- Please tick all in column D
- After selecting column D, press the formatting drop-down
- Select "Text" as formatting (Since the "+" in the prefix is not removed when you add the phone numbers)
- The .CSV file is then saved with the information you have added.
Load template with contacts
Now the .CSV sheet just needs to be loaded. This is done by importing contacts and pressing "ok" on the pop-up that appears
- Tap "import contacts"
- Then press "ok" in the pop-up window.
- The .CSV file in which you have entered data is selected.
- Press "open/open"
Now your employee data will be loaded into Addo Sign!
Distributing a document
All users in Addo Sign will therefore be able to easily send documents to people in the address book, simply by starting by writing something from their name when they want to add the signatory.
- Press "Add one or more signers"
- Tap the "name" field and start typing something from the person's name
- Select the correct recipient from the list.
