When purchasing credits, whether using a credit card or invoice, the credits have an expiration date of 12 months. The 12-month period starts from the date of purchase

When do my credits expire?

When you sign up for Addo Sign, you receive a free trial period of 30 days with 10 credits. During the trial period, no credit purchases are made and you can use your account for free without a subscription or add-ons.

If you want to use your account to obtain digital signatures, identify recipients, send forms, or mail merges, you must use credits. To use credits, you need to make a credit purchase under "Buy Credits" on your account.

Once you have ordered an invoice or made a credit card purchase of credits, your account will be topped up with the number of credits you ordered. Once you have purchased credits, your account will be active and you can use it to send and obtain information and signatures.

Now that when a purchase has been made, the credits on your account will be active for 12 months from the date of purchase. If you purchased credits on 01/01/2023, they will expire on 01/01/2024. This also includes the already existing credits of which the lifetime is extended by 12 months.

If you have accumulated credits on an account in connection with a subscription purchase, these credits will also expire if the subscription is terminated.

 

What happens after my credits expire?

However, your account will still be active after your credits expire. In fact, it will be active for another 6 months, during which time you have the opportunity to use your account, edit templates, change user permissions, and more.

Therefore, the expiration of credits does not affect you as an Addo Sign user, except if you are passive thereafter. Your account will be deactivated 6 months after your credits expire if no new credit purchase has been made. The reason why your account will be deactivated 6 months after the expiration of credits and if no purchase has been made thereafter is that we value your security and information.

We will not store information about you if you do not use our product.

If your account has been deactivated, it will be deleted after another 6 months if you are passive. However, you can always contact support to reactivate your account. Your account cannot be reactivated if it has been deleted.
