Change the expiration date of a transaction

Changing the expiration date of a transaction alters the period during which a recipient has to sign a document. The transaction date applies to all signers, and thereafter, it will no longer be possible to sign the documents.

When a transaction has the status "started," there is an option to change the expiration date. If the transaction has a different status, it is not possible to change the expiration date.

Change the date

If you have reactivated a transaction or simply set the wrong expiration date for a transaction, you have the option to change it.

This is done by going to the overview, then clicking on the transaction you want to change the date for. If there is more than one signer, click on one of the signers listed under the transaction.

Next, a pop-up will appear where you click into transaction details and then change the expiration date to the desired date:

  1. Press "Transaction Details" in the pop-up that appears.
  2. Choose the desired expiration date.

Note: The expiration date can only be up to 90 days in the future.
