What To Do If You Have Lost Access to your Addo Sign Account

This article explains how to regain access to your Addo Sign account and outlines the security measures and reasons behind this process.

⚠️ This article is intended for existing customers of Addo Sign who have lost access to their active accounts. This not meant for user login recovery, creation of new accounts or deactivated accounts.

Customers may need to regain access to the Addo Sign account of their company due to different cirumstances; such as the sole administrative user being unavailable, no longer employed in the company, interal company changes, or other scenarios.

To regain access, the company director must fill out, upload relevant documentation and sign the Account Access Recovery Form.

In order for our support to process and accept your account recovery request, the company director must complete the form corresponding to your legal jurisdiction of the company.

The form requires:

  • Selection of cause of clear reasoning for loss of account access.

  • Providing documentation that supports or verifies the cause of loss of account access.

  • Providing login information for the new user.

  • Signature by the company director.

⚠️ All fields, document uploads and signatures must be by the company director. If the company director is unable to complete the form, then the acting director can complete the form.

Authorized Signatory and Company Information Verification

For security reasons, only the company director can sign the request. The information provided in the form will be cross-checked with official national business registries of the legal jurisdiction of the company. Please ensure that your company details are up to date in these registries; otherwise, the request cannot be accepted.

Identity verification and signature methods vary depending on your country:

  • Danish companies must use MitID for both identity verification and signing.

  • Swedish companies must use Swedish BankID for both identity verification and signing.

  • Norwegian companies must use Norwegian BankID for both identity verification and signing.

  • Companies outside these countries should use the Other form. Must identify using phone number and complete a touchsreen signature.

⚠️ Please note, companies with legal jurisdiction in Denmark, Sweden, or Norway that are not using their respective forms will automatically be rejected.

Additional information

These procedures are in place to ensure fraud prevention, data safety, and financial protection.

New user:

  • It is the decision of the company of who the new user should be. We do recommend the user is an employee of the company with rights to view the data of the documents uploaded to Addo Sign.

  • The new user will be provided administrator user rights.

  • The email of the new user cannot already be registered as an user in Addo Sign.

  • You can choose whether the new user can create their own password or if you receive login details to the email provided in the form.
