Learn how to set up Secure FTP and use it to receive signed documents automatically through your Addo Sign templates.

⚠️You must be an administrator in Addo Sign and have permission to configure your server environment.

Secure FTP integration and template setup

You can have signed documents automatically delivered to your Secure FTP server by setting up the integration and connecting it to the relevant signing templates.

Follow the steps below to complete the setup:

Step 1: Set up the Secure FTP integration

The server must be set up to accept external connections and file transfers.

  1. Go to Settings (⚙️) Integrations.

  2. In the list of available integrations, click Secure FTP:

  3. Fill in the following details in the setup window:

    • Server: Enter the server address without sftp://.

    • Username: Enter your login username.

    • Password: Enter your login password.

    • Path: Enter the path where documents should be stored.

  4. Click Save.

Once saved, Secure FTP is shown under Active Integrations.

Step 2: Connect Secure FTP to a template

To deliver signed documents via Secure FTP, you need to enable Secure FTP in each relevant template.

  1. Go to Go to Settings (⚙️) → Templates

  2. Create a new template or select an existing template to edit:

  3. Scroll down to Sender distribution methods.

  4. Select Secure FTP and click Save:

Every time this template is used and the transaction is completed, the signed documents are sent directly to your Secure FTP server.

Note: Setting up the integration only connects Secure FTP to your Addo Sign account.

To use Secure FTP in your document flows, you must enable it in each template where the signed documents should be delivered by Secure FTP.
