πŸ”’ Secure FTP Integration and Template Setup

You can have signed documents automatically delivered to your Secure FTP server by setting up an integration and connecting it to the appropriate signing templates.

Follow the steps below to complete the setup:

βš™οΈ Step 1: Set Up Secure FTP Integration

πŸ›  Note: You must be an Administrator in Addo Sign and have permission to configure your server environment. The server must also be set up to accept external connections and file transfers.

  1. Go to Settings and select Integrations:

  2. In the list of available integrations, click Secure FTP

  3. A setup window will appear. Fill in the following details:

    • Server – Enter the server address (without sftp://).

    • Username – Your login username.

    • Password – Your login password.

    • Path – The specific path where documents should be stored.

  4. Click Save.

Once saved, you’ll see Secure FTP listed under Active Integrations.

🧾 Step 2: Connect Secure FTP to a Template

To begin delivering signed documents via Secure FTP, you need to enable it within each relevant template.

  1. Go to Settings > Templates, then create a new template or select an existing one to edit:

  2. Scroll down to the section titled Sender distribution methods

  3. Check the box labeled Secure FTP:

βœ… That’s it! Every time this template is used and a transaction is completed, the signed documents will be sent directly to your Secure FTP server.

πŸ“Œ Reminder

Setting up the integration only connects Secure FTP to your account.

To activate it in your document flows, you must enable Secure FTP in the individual templates where you want the delivery to happen.
