How to manage Forms in Addo Sign

Managing forms in Addo Sign is simple. You can export a form as a backup or share it with others, and you can import a form to use an existing template in your group.

Exporting a Form

When you export a form, it’s saved as a JSON file. JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is a text-based format used to store data, but it can’t be opened directly because it only contains code that works with Addo Sign.

To export your form:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Select Forms.

  3. Click on the Action button next to the form you want to export.

  4. Choose Export.

Click 'Proceed' to continue:

Your form will be downloaded, usually to your Downloads or Transfers folder:

Importing a Form

If you’ve received a form file (JSON) or want to upload a previously exported form, you can import it to your current group.

Note: Forms are always imported to the group you are currently in. For example, if you’re in the 'Standard' group, the form will be imported there.

To import a form:

  1. Go to the Forms page and scroll to the bottom

  2. Click Import.

  3. Select Upload File and choose the form (JSON file).

  4. Pick the template you want the form to use.

  5. Click Import.

Your form is now imported and ready to use!
