File Size Limits in Addo Sign

When sending documents through Addo Sign, the total size of all files in a single transaction must not exceed 20 MB. You can include as many documents as you like, as long as their combined size stays within this limit.

Why 20 MB?

Most email providers don’t allow attachments larger than 20 MB. If we allowed bigger files, your documents might never reach the recipient.

Need to Send Larger Files?

As an Addo Sign customer, you can increase your file size limit to up to 100 MB per transaction. When this option is enabled, two important changes occur:

  1. View or download option for recipients

Larger files (up to 100 MB) can take more time and computer resources to open in a browser. To improve the experience, recipients can choose whether to view the document online or download it for easier access.

  2. Files are sent via a secure download link

Instead of attaching the documents directly to an email, Addo Sign will send the recipient a download link. This link is active for 30 days after the transaction expires.

Important: Since files are no longer stored in the email itself, make sure to download them before the link expires.

Cost for Large File Transactions

Sending large documents (over 20 MB) costs 1 credit per transaction.
