"Touch signature" can be used as a signature on all documents and it is a legally binding signing method.

What is "Touch Signature"?
This signature form is more secure than an old-fashioned signature made with a pen on a piece of paper. This is because various information about the signer is safely stored in the PDF.
Some of the stored information includes: IP address of the signatory, e-mail address or telephone number of the signatory, date and time of signature as well as an activity log which all become an integrated part of the signed document.
The reader of the document, will not be able to access this information. If an issue should arise, a judge can request the Addo Sign team to unlock the document in order to access the stored information.
Signature with "Touch signature" is supported by the eIDAS regulation. It goes under the requirement "SES" - Simple Electronic Signature. You can read much more about the different eIDAS requirements here.
If you want the signer's information to be visible on the document, which is not simply that provided by the sender, we suggest using advanced signing methods, such as MitID or BankID.
How to sign
Once a signer has clicked the link to the signing portal, they will be greeted with this page:
When the signer clicks the document, they will be presented with the document, and the option to sign the document:
Once they click the button, they will now have to sign the document, by drawing their signature and approving:
The document is now signed, and the signer will now receive confirmation.
What does the signature look like?
Once the document is signed, the sender will receive a signed copy. A seal including the name (supplied by the sender) and the drawn signature will be included in the bottom of the document.
