The security settings provide you with options on how the password requirements for a document should be.
Note: Only the administrators of your account have permissions to edit the security settings.

What are security settings?
The security settings are an option for the administrator of an account to change the rules for passwords that apply to the account and all sub-accounts. This setting has no effect on the signer or transactions, but is purely for internal login and security in Addo Sign.
How to change security settings
- Click the Cogwheel
- Click Security
- Choose between Standard or High requirements.
- Click Save
Difference in security settings
There are two different options for password requirements, Standard or High. The chosen setting counts for the main account and all sub-accounts.
Standard
- Minimum 8 characters
- Not include same character three times in a row.
High
- Minimum 8 characters
- Not include same character three times in a row
- Password must be changed every 90 days
- Password must include numbers and upper and lower case letters
- The past 8 passwords can't be reused.
