MitID Erhverv represents a digital identity solution tailored to businesses. It enables secure self-identification for users and provides access to digital services and systems. How do I send a document with MitID Erhverv?
We recommend that you check in advance whether your recipient supports MitID Erhverv. When creating a new shipment and adding your associated documents, click "Add new signer," and the window below will open. Here, choose MitID Erhverv for identification or signing and enter the company's VAT number that the recipient represents.
- Select MitID Erhverv for either identification or signing. If chosen in one of the options, the other option will automatically be locked and marked in gray.
- Enter the VAT number of the company your recipient represents.
How do I sign a document with MitID Erhverv?
When you, as the recipient, receive your signing link, you will automatically need to identify yourself with MitID Erhverv. The process is similar to regular MitID, except that you need to enter your registered user ID for MitID Erhverv.
If you are unsure about your user ID, which should not be confused with your private one, we recommend contacting your IT department. If your private MitID is used, you will not be able to sign the documents.
- Enter your MitID Erhverv USER ID.
- Open the MitID app on your smartphone.
- Enter your login details in the MitID app on your smartphone.
- Verify your access to Addo Sign.
- Return to the signing portal.
- You can now read and sign your documents.
How does my signature appear on the signing page?
If you receive a copy of the signed document, the signature will appear as shown in the screenshot below. The ID under your full name represents your UID (Personal ID), followed by the company based on the entered VAT.
