Download a CSV File of All Transactions

Addo Sign lets you store data from Overview manageably on your computer. You can download the entire overview, or sort in which transactions you want to save, such as groups, senders, recipients or time period.

This article explains what CSV files can be used for, how to set filters to get exactly the data you want, how to download a CSV file, what a CSV file contains and how to read and understand the file.

How to download a CSV-file

You can download a CSV-file of transactions sent from your account via the Overview page. In the bottom left corner, you are able to set the period from which you want to extract.

In the top row, you can also sort by, for example, group, or sender. When the file is downloaded, it will only contain the transactions that fall under your filtering. The CSV-file contains all data about the transactions (including data not immediately visible in the overview).

  1. Go to Overview
  2. Filter by the data you want to download. For example, group, sender, recipient, etc.
  3. Set the time period for when you want the data from and to. Addo Sign always sorts 30 days by default
  4. Click on Download CSV. Now the file is downloaded and opens by default as an Excel sheet or similar program.

The contents of a CSV-file

A CSV-File is gonna look something like this:

When you open a CSV file, you will get a sheet containing the following data (in order):

Status: Status of each signature. See this article. If there are multiple signers on the same transaction, this only applies to the individual signer and not to the entire transaction.
SigningReference: The sender-chosen reference number/name.
Recepient: The transaction receiver's Email address.
Receipt: Yes / no whether a receipt is sent to the recipient.
SigningStart:

Note - if a field contains only symbols such as #### then this means that Excel cannot display all the data in the field as it is too small. To see the information, simply expand the field at the top of the column.
