Authentication Methods

This article highlights the authentication methods that are available to you in Addo Sign.

MitID

If you choose this solution instead, the recipient of the document will be asked to identify themselves via MitID. This will subsequently also automatically be the chosen method for signing.

MitID Erhverv

Same procedure as under 'MitID', and it requires that your signer has MitID business in order to use this method.

SMS code

Signer identifies themselves through an SMS code, and you will be asked to enter their phone number:

Secret code

A secret code is predetermined by you as the sender. The code is by nature confidential and should only be known by yourself and the signer. There are no specific requirements for this code, though it must consist of regular letters (a-å) and/or numbers from 0-9.

Swedish BankID

Swedish BankID is used when a person needs to verify their identity and sign on their own behalf. It works in the same way as NemID and can be used with or without a personal identification number.

Norwegian BankID

Norwegian BankID is used when a person needs to verify their identity and sign on their own behalf. It works in the same way as NemID and can be used with or without a personal identification number.
